In 9th Class Urdu book includes 11 lessons in it’s “Hissa Nasar” part & 4 poems in it’s “Hissa Nazm” part, while, 4 ghazals in it’s “Hissa Ghazal” part.
Urdu subject includes lessons from different Urdu literature writers. It’s “حصہ نثر” starts from ہجرت نبوی ﷺ written by مولانا شبلی نعمانی & ends at قدر ایاز by کرنل محمد خان. While “حصہ نظم” starts from “حمد” by مولانا الطاف حسین حالی & ends “پیوستہ رہ شجر سے امید بہار رکھ” by علامہ محمد اقبال.
Similarly, “حصہ غزل” starts from “ہستی اپنی حباب کی سی ہے” by میر تقی میر & ends at “لگتا نہیں ہے دل مرا اجڑے دیار میں” by بہادر شاہ ظفر.
