AIOU MA Special Education Past Papers All Codes
The aim of the department is to impart education and training to teachers for the special needs children studying either in special schools or in mainstream schools. M.Ed Special Education program basically a professional qualification. Mostly in-service teachers from special & mainstream schools join the program. For the in-service teachers, it is professional qualification. The objectives of the program are:
- To meet in country’s increasing demand of trained teachers and specialized personnel by acquainting them with latest techniques and methodologies to deal with special needs.
- Provide referral & supportive services to the handicapped and their parents by creating awareness in the public.
- Keep liaison with agencies and organizations working for the amelioration of the handicapped.
AIOU has introduced a wide range of Master’s programs. MA Special Education is also one of them. It is a distance learning mode program with atmost five and at least four components:
- Study Material
- Assignments
- Workshops
- Examination
- Thesis (optional)
The University also sends study material to students for each course with guidelines to solve assignments and prepare exams.
All student of MA Special Education have to attend 2 Days Workshop for Each course. Moreover, in the last fourth semester to opt Thesis is optional.
